Many of our costumes are based on Lord of the Rings characters, I was drawn into costuming because of the movies and got my start at LOTR Costume Research.
In Haradrim there is an example of a costume breakdown, which can very helpful when doing a intricate multi-layered costume by "parting it out" especially useful for new costumers (like I was) who don't know where to start and a few examples to show how you can apply method costuming during the design and build stages.
Corsairs features the pirates from "the Black ship" scene and I'll show you how I was able to make it inexpensively by re-purposing items from ebay and thrift stores.
The King of the Dead and Ghost Soldier are from the "Paths of the Dead" and we get technical by adding el wire lighting for a ghostly glow and bring in the bones for skeletal accessories.
Easterling has production photos of Ezra's Easterling costume showcasing the amazing detail of the armor and many steps to produce it.
