Halloween 08 SGA Wraith was a costume I had been wanting for a long time, I bought the black leather trench coat-sized to fit snugly- on ebay, then slit the back & side seams. I added lizard scale fabric inserts, made shoulder panels, added some leather scale to the chest, made a belt and had decent looking wraith garb. I would like to add some sort of wrist armor, and perhaps do more with inserts. It was not very difficult and since there are endless wraith outfit variations you can make your own style. I am allergic to latex so I decided to try using silicone to make a mask, using Smooth-On's Dragonskin. I used the "paint on" method shown on their website , made 3 versions before I was relatively satisfied and the mask was...ok. It was hot, and pulled as it wasn't cast to my dimensions but to the mannquin head. I plan to continue working with Dragon Skin though I'm leaning towards piecing out the prosthetics rather than making a full mask, it worked better for the zombie that way. I was able to use Kryolan Aqua-Color makeup with it, so a combination of prosthetics and makeup may be more comfortable. I have ordered the materials for doing a life cast of my face and hands, and molding supplies as I need it for the moria orc as well- will be documenting my progress once I begin. For those interested, it is fairly expensive, there's quite a learning curve and you must read directions and pay attention to cautions. Using the wrong type of silicone can be dangerous, research it before attempting!

UPDATE: WRAITH PROSTHETICS
Based on what I learned making the Orc prosthetics I am making all new wraith prosthetics, I now have a life cast to work from so should get a better fit. I'm so impressed with the rawhide armor flexibility that I also want to add some to the wraith coat.
