DARKSIDECOSTUMES
iratus bug
I like creepy props so I decided to do a Iratus bug "pet" for my wraith. I used a piece of rawhide for shape and built the head and body on that from Apoxy sculpt. Legs were made from electronic wire also covered in clay but with joints open so they still can bend. I used silicone to cover the back to give it a shiny wet look and added some on the head dripping down for a slimy effect. Even though screencaps do not actually show eyes I may try to add red leds just because it would look cool. There is also a leather "tail" you can barely see in the shoulder picture that wraps around my neck-a "security" bug instead of blanket...
wraith baby
I came across a ragged baby doll while thrift storing and got the idea of making a wraith baby- removed baby doll eyes and sculpted a more wraith looking face then airbrushed it. Alligator eyes from a taxidermy store completed the look. I had no time for much of a costume for her so made a crude black bunting so she could go out Halloween. After Halloween I revamped her with hair, a new outfit and a baby wraith chair. The skull footstool adds a nice touch...maybe a wraith baby hive dollhouse?
